CFA's Ronald H. Brown African Affairs US State Department Town Hall Meeting

Meet & Greet Dikembe Mutombo and other featured speakers
You are formally invited to the CFA’s 2015 Town Hall Meeting, “Strategies for Strengthening Africa Health Infrastructure”, at the U.S. State Department on Tuesday, September 15th, 9am to 1pm. The  CFA Town Hall Meeting, in partnership with the Bureau of African Affairs, is the signature event of this year’s Ronald H. Brown African Affairs Series beginning September 14th to September 18th.

THE DOHA GOALS FORUM 2015

Doha GOALS - the Gathering Of All Leaders in Sport - was created to bring together corporations, policymakers, NGOs, federations and athletes to look at how sport can act as an agent of social change and economic progress. The fourth edition of Doha GOALS, July 25- 27, coincided with the 2015 Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, the largest sports and humanitarian event anywhere in the world this year. 

2014 Caring for Congo Invitation

Forbes Healthcare Summit 2013: Empowering The Patient Revolution On October 9th and 10th in New York, Steve Forbes will host the second annual Forbes Healthcare Summit, bringing together leaders from a wide spectrum of disciplines in the healthcare industry to discuss how the newly empowered consumers will drive disruption and change. The summit will highlight how key stakeholders can work together to generate actionable solutions and reform to organize and finance new systems and ultimately provide better outcomes for patients. Dikembe Mutombo will be speaking on Thursday at 3:45 p.m.
Retired NBA Legend, Dikembe Mutombo, will headline a group of distinguished honorees at the Washington Adventist University (WAU) Inaugural Visionaries Gala, scheduled for Congressional Country Club, Sunday, September 22. The gala is envisioned as an annual event to support Vision 2020, a blueprint for campus development over the next seven years. "This will be a watershed moment in the history of Washington Adventist University," said President Weymouth Spence, Ph.D. "We are signaling our intention to grow this university and to deepen our footprints as a higher education institution in the Washington, D.C. area and the country in general"
On Sunday, August 11, 2013. Dikembe Mutombo will serve as a Table Host at the 50th Anniversary: America's Sunday Supper. The Reverend Bernice King will serve as the Host for the evening at the Carter Center. The Atlanta conversation will focus on how we can use Dr. King's "I Have a Dream" speech to stimulate dialogue among young people on how to solve problems, bridge differences with others, and practice tolerance in everyday life. Mr. Mutombo will serve as a Table Host and lead his table conversation during the Sunday Supper.
